Take the journey: Start with the self

I know at least five and a half persons who are waiting to get out, for an adventure, for a surprise. (The half accounts for me, I oscillate between the logical and the lyrical). Considering the fact that I am a hopeless introvert, that’s a lot of people, but the real fun thing, is that we never really go out for that kind of adventure. So, are we all doomed? Our life will fade away without us having lived the spirited living we so aspire for? Fortunately, the cure is all around us, we just need to open our eyes.

·         Exploring fantasies: start with the self
Though the true change begins from within, sometimes we need outside catalysts to find joy. That’s why what we wear can alter the way we perceive ourselves. Imagine enjoying the sense of lightness as your Moroccan outfit sways with the wind…an instant mood lift.

·         One design fits all
The versatility of those ensembles is virtually endless. From Queen Victoria’s granddaughter’s wedding to Christina Hendricks’ laid back TV conversation, they add the touch of effortless elegance and opulence to any occasion. They work very well as an alluring swimsuit cover-up too.
Kaleidoscopic colours, intricate patterns and prints, pastel elegance, stories told in embroidery and sequins – pick your favourite Moroccan kaftans and begin the day dreaming in style!

·         It begins at home
Home is the only place where we are just us, no pretence, no holding back. So why not make it our very own treasure island?  Begin with a Moroccan Poufs. That’ll fuel your own imagination as the fresh touch will delight the senses.

·         From the Ottoman empire to your study
When Europe came in direct contact with the Orient, a whole new way of life was discovered, cuisine, attires, arts, décor – everything in the Orient seemed to be imbued with painstaking craftsmanship and the spirit of opulence. Pouffe is one such piece of décor. Originally, the Turkish used it as the centre table or stand around which lavish dinner parties and indoor games were played and enjoyed. As the pouffe travelled to Europe, it started to change in shape, colour and material.
·         Work it, baby!
Moroccan poufs are an amazing way to a add splash of insurgent colour against the sombre impersonality and make your home your own bohemian hideout. Multi-task those as a coffee table or a place to dump your books…occasionally dump yourself on them as well, they would love it.
It’s amazing how Bohemian spirit meanders within our mind and dreams. The wanderlust, the lyrical living, a nest win the deep of nature – there’s hardly a soul that could resist the charm. And the most enchanting thing about this dreamy world is that we can take a trip anytime because it’s within us.
Bon voyage!
